Notice I am NOT at the edge. It is a drop just as sheer as the Grand Canyan (admittedly, not as far down <g>).
There wasn't enough time to figure out how to get down to the beach. Tulum was CRAWLING with tourists. There was little in the way of shade, so sunblock was an essential component of our carryalongs... right up there with extra bottles of water.
